Special Education programs and services at Northeast Metro 916 are highly specialized to respond to our member districts’ students with the most challenging needs. Highly-structured, supportive learning environments help students reach their academic, social, emotional, behavior and communication goals.

SPECIAL EDUCATION SPOTLIGHT

916 Mobile Education Center

916 launched a new mobile learning space for staff to safely provide critical services for students and families in their own communities. Critical services include in-person assessments, mental health assessments and evaluations, critical behavior interventions and coaching sessions for parents or other unique circumstances requiring innovation to meet the needs of students and families. The space has a touchscreen TV, Wi-Fi and flexible configurations for working with students.
