CAREER AND TECHNICAL CENTER SPOTLIGHT

In this new summer program, middle school students gain important skills

In this week-long summer program at the 916 Career & Tech Center, students gained exposure to transportation careers while touring local businesses and working on remote controlled cars. Students discovered new technical skills by working on RC cars then seeing how those skills apply to today’s cars, trucks and even heavy trucks and equipment. Camp culminated with an exciting race day that was enjoyed by students and their families.
